Long ago, there was an old man. He was giddy and deaf. His knees were shaky. When he was at the table he almost couldn’t hold the spoon. Sometimes, he spilled soup on the table or soup would drip from his mouth which made his son and daughter in law disgusted with him. They didn’t let him sit at the table and sent him beside the stove. They put a little food in an earthen bowl. He sat in the corner and looked at the other people at the table with tears in his eyes.
